Helping Veterans and Military Get a Civilian Education

MSU Denver currently educates more than 1,000 veteran and military students and employs more than 80 veterans as faculty and staff. We thank you for your service and would like to it pay it forward by helping you further transform your life through an education.

What you should know:

  • The Military Times consistently includes MSU Denver on its “Best Colleges for Veterans" list. The ranking is the most comprehensive school-by-school assessment of veteran and military student success rates.
  • MSU Denver’s President, Dr. Janine Davidson, is a veteran. For 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, she flew combat support, airdrop and humanitarian missions all over the world. Dr. Davidson also served as an instructor at the Air Force Academy, earned the rank of second lieutenant and was the first woman to pilot a C-130. Madeline Marshall, military veteran student "MSU Denver gives you the tools and opportunities you need to succeed. Leaving the military is not easy, but going to college doesn’t have to be difficult. MSU Denver provides ways to make the transition easier. Knowing that a university wants me to succeed just as much as I want to succeed is a positive experience that will stay with me forever.”
