The Master's of Professional Accountancy degree from MSU Denver will develop your leadership skills and sharpen your critical thinking for all things accounting. You will learn from a plethora of experienced professors with varied backgrounds in all types of accounting. With small class sizes, evening or afternoon class options, and home to some of the most-affordable graduate degrees in the U.S., you'll be well prepared for a career in accounting without being buried in a mountain of debt.
We offer five MPAcc concentrations at MSU Denver:
- Public Accounting
- Fraud Examination
- Internal Auditing
- Forensic Accounting
So long as you meet certain prerequisites, the 3+2 MPAcc option allows you to earn a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in five years.
The 4+1 Master of Professional Accountancy Program is designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree or beyond, regardless of subject-matter or professional background.

The healthcare industry is challenging and constantly changing. By earning a Master of Health Administration degree from MSU Denver, you'll have the conceptual, analytical, and leadership skills needed to succeed as a healthcare executive. With an accelerated option, you can earn your MHA in as little as 12 months and kickstart your career in one of the fastest-growing industries in Colorado and the country.
Even if you have no previous education in Social Work, you can still earn your master's degree in MSU Denver's two-year degree plan. This intensive program teaches clinical assessment, intervention skills, evidence-based practice, ethical decision making, scientific inquiry, cultural sensitivity, global awareness, leadership, teamwork, personal reflection and self correction to prepare you for your first job out of school. Speaking of, 87 percent of our MSW graduates found a job within six months of graduating.
If you have already earned and undergraduate degree in social work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) within the last six years, you can apply for the Advanced Standing MSW program. All that stands between you and your diploma is 30 credit hours of coursework specific to your area of concentration, no foundation courses necessary.
Students that opt for the Elementary Education concentration will complete requirements for licensure in the K-6 classroom. Certain prerequisites and licensure requirements can be met if you've completed a minor in Elementary Education.
Looking to earn a K-12 Special Education license while pursuing your Master of Arts in Teaching degree? This concentration allows that and prepares you to meet the teaching needs of children and adolescents with disabilities.
The goal of this certificate program is to increase the number of educated professionals in the areas of autism and significant support needs. An undergraduate degree in Special Education, SE Generalist license or equivalent is required for this graduate program.
